How do I cancel?
Reply STOP to any text. One word ends the daily texts, and the billing if you bought a plan, in the same moment. No login, no call, no extra step. The billing page is only for paid subscribers updating a card or viewing payment history.
Why is there an annual price?
It is a commitment discount, not a bigger plan. The messages are identical either way. $39 billed once a year works out to $3.25 a month. Twelve months at $9 is $108, so paying for the year saves you $69, about 64 percent.
What happens after the free week?
The daily texts stop on day 8. Before then we text you a one-tap link to keep going for $9 a month, or $39 a year. Nothing happens unless you choose it.
Can I skip the free week and buy now?

What if it's not for me?
Reply STOP at any time, including during the free week. During the free week there is no card, so nothing is charged. On a paid plan, STOP ends the daily texts and billing together.
Is this affiliated with AA or any specific program?
No. SoberHint is secular, and its messages do not assume what you are recovering from or which path you follow.
What time will I get my text?
Your first daily text arrives at the next scheduled send time, in your timezone. Morning is the default. Reply MORNING, AFTERNOON, or EVENING to change it whenever you like.
What if I relapse?
The texts keep coming the next morning, the same as always, unless you reply STOP. Nothing resets, nothing is counted against you, and SoberHint never tracks or resets a sobriety date.
Is my payment information secure?
We use Stripe for all payments. We never see or store your card number. It's processed entirely on Stripe's servers.
What are the milestone messages?
Your 7th, 30th, and 100th SoberHint texts each carry a small marker for having kept going. They count texts received, not days sober. SoberHint does not calculate your sobriety date.
