For someone you care about
Send encouragement without adding pressure.
Give them one private recovery text each morning for a year. No app, no account, and no need to reassure you or report back.
What they will actually receive
Real messages from SoberHint
“The craving is loud and it is lying about how long it lasts.”
“Waking up wanting one is not a bad sign. It is just old wiring firing.”
“An empty Tuesday night is not a problem to solve. It is just a Tuesday night.”
These are verbatim daily SoberHint messages, not marketing examples.
$39 once for one full year
About $3.25 a month. About 11 cents a day. No renewal.
Consent is part of the gift
Their YES protects the relationship.
You are offering something, not enrolling them behind their back. After payment, we send one invitation. Daily messages begin only if they reply YES.
It asks nothing of them
After they opt in, the daily message does not ask for an update, explanation, or promise.
It never reports back
We do not tell you whether they opted in, what they receive, or how they respond.
They can end it with one word
Replying STOP ends the messages. There is no call, account, or explanation.
If they never reply YES, nothing else is sent. The gift still expires one year after purchase.
Set up their gift
Enter their number and time zone, then continue to Stripe. Stripe collects your email for the receipt.
How it works
One invitation. Then their choice.
You set up the gift
Enter their number and time zone, confirm how consent works, and pay $39 once.
We send one invitation
The invitation tells them the gift is waiting and asks them to reply YES. It is the only text sent unless they opt in.
They stay in control
If they reply YES, one message arrives each morning for the rest of the gift year. They can reply STOP anytime.
What this is
A small, private form of support.
SoberHint is encouragement, not treatment. It cannot keep someone sober or replace professional care, a recovery program, or people who know them.
Questions
Could this feel like pressure or nagging?
The invitation leaves the decision with them. If they opt in, the daily messages ask nothing of them, and nothing is reported back to you. They can end the daily messages by replying STOP.
What if they never reply YES?
Nothing else is sent. The one-year gift term begins on the purchase date and does not renew, whether or not they choose to use it.
Will the recipient ever be charged?
No. You pay $39 once. We never ask the recipient for a card, and the gift never turns into a paid subscription for them.
Will I know whether they opted in?
No. We do not tell you whether they replied YES, what messages they receive, or how they respond. Their use of the gift stays private.
What will the invitation say?
It identifies the gift, names you and includes your note if you choose to add them, explains the daily text program, and asks for a YES before daily messages begin.
What if they already receive SoberHint?
Please email hello@soberhint.com before buying. We do not want you to pay for something they already have.
